Beginning Handstands
Wednesdays 12:30-1:45pm, 3/5-4/23
Have you always been curious about handstands but didn't know where to start? This 8-week session class is geared towards beginners with no previous handstand experience. Class will begin with a thorough full-body warm up and then move on to drills focused on building strength and confidence on our hands. We will also learn proper spotting technique, so please come prepared to work with others.

Intermediate Handstands
This class is perfect for students with some previous handstand experience who feel comfortable kicking up to a handstand against a wall and to a spotter. We will continue to work on the basics of a strong handstand line, as well as drills to build strength, coordination and confidence upside down. In addition to a simple handstand, we will go over tuck and straddle handstands and how to spot them.
Advanced Handstands
Fridays 10:30-11:45am, 3/7-4/25
Ready to take your handstand training further? In this class we will warm up with the three basic handstand shapes (tuck, straight, and straddle) spotting each other and in the center of the room. From there, we will move on to more advanced topics including handstand press, side press, weight-shifting, sevens, flags, etc.
Prerequisites: Familiar with tuck, straight and straddle handstands. Able to exit a handstand safely in the center of the room.
